Privacy policy

This policy describes what happens to information when you use PhotoPSD. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Your images

Images you open in the editor are never uploaded. The editor is a WebAssembly application that runs inside your browser tab. It reads files from your device, edits them in memory and writes exports back to your device. There is no upload endpoint, and no copy of your file is stored on a server.

If the tab is closed without exporting, the document is discarded. There is no server-side autosave.

What the server can see

Like any website, the service that delivers these pages can observe standard request data: the IP address making the request, the URL requested, the time, the user agent string, and whether a request succeeded. This is the minimum needed to serve a page and to detect abuse, and it is held by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) under their own retention policies.

Cookies and advertising

The editor itself sets no cookies and requires no login.

This site displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. That means:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
• If you are in a region covered by the GDPR or similar rules, a consent prompt is shown before non-essential cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising on the editor page itself — only on the content pages around it.

Analytics

The site currently runs no third-party analytics scripts. If that changes, this page will name the provider, list what is measured, and state the retention period before any code is deployed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port personal data, or to object to its processing. Since the site holds no account data and no image data, most requests reduce to the request logs described above. Requests can be sent through the contact page and are answered within 30 days.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

When this policy changes materially, the update date at the top of this page changes and the change is noted in the changelog.
