Terms of use
Using this site means accepting these terms. They are short on purpose.
Updated Nov 5, 2026
What you are using
PhotoPSD provides a browser-based image editor and written documentation. The service is free and provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Your files and your responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you open and create. Because processing happens locally in your browser, you are also solely responsible for keeping backups: closing a tab without exporting discards the document, and there is no recovery service.
You agree not to use the site to process material you have no right to use, or in any way that violates applicable law.
No guarantee of output fidelity
Editors differ in how they interpret PSD features. Complex documents — smart objects, unusual blend modes, proprietary effects, missing fonts — may render differently here than in the application that created them. Check important output before publishing it.
Availability
The site may change, break or go offline without notice. There is no service-level agreement, and no guarantee that a specific feature will remain available.
Advertising
The site is supported by advertising. Advertisers are not endorsing this site, and the site does not endorse advertised products. Transactions with advertisers are between you and them.
Open-source components
The editor is built from PhotoCraft, dual-licensed MIT / Apache-2.0, and includes third-party components listed in the attribution file shipped with it at /editor/ATTRIBUTION.md. Those licences govern the code; these terms govern the use of this website and its written content.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or business interruption arising from use of the site.
Changes to these terms
Material changes are reflected in the update date above and noted in the changelog. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
